The nine and last day of Vasant or Chaitra Navratri is associated with worshipping Maa Siddhidatri and performing the Navratri Navmi Pujan. This day marks the completion of the 9 fasts observed in the reverence of Nav Durga. Seen as the day when the goddess is the happiest, 9th Day of Chaitra Navratri will be celebrated on the 2nd of April 2020. This day also celebrates the birthday of beloved Lord Rama.

Navratri Navmi Pujan is held on the ninth day of Navratri with a Kanya Pujan. All the fasts that the devotee of Maa Durga observe while bowing down to her mystical aura get completed with the Navratri Pujan and Hawan on the 9th day or the 8th day of Navratri. The divine form of Maa Parvati is believed to protect her devotees from all things evil while acting as a protective shield with invincible powers. Who is Maa Siddhidatri?

Maa Siddhidatri is the 9th form of 'Adi Shakti' (The Supreme Goddess). The Supreme Goddess initially had no form but when Lord Shiva worshipped Her to make Creation possible, she appeared in the form of Maa Siddhidatri from the left half of Lord Shiva. She is the giver and governor of all Siddhis (Divine Powers) and is worshipped to get divine power against all misfortunes and negativity.

Maa Siddhidatri is depicted as seated on a divine 'Kamal Pushpa' (Lotus flower) as well as seated on a Lion. She is picturised with four hands. The Goddess holds a 'Gada' (Mace) in one of Her right hands and a 'Chakra' (Celestial Discuss). In her left hand, she holds a 'Kamal' (Lotus) and a 'Shankh' (Conch). The form of Maa Siddhidatri is of one who is kind and benevolent. She is the giver- the one who showers her devotees with love, warmth, happiness, and affluence in life.
