Fifth day- Worship of Maa Skanfdmata on 03rd April.

Sixth day- Worship of Maa Katyani on 04th April.

Seventh day- Worship of Maa Kalratri on 05th April.

Eighth day: worship of Maa Gauri and Maa Siddhidatri on 6th April.

Navratri festival is celebrated four times a year, out of which two are manifest Navratri- Chaitra Navratri and Sharadiya Navratri, while the remaining two are celebrated as gupt Navratri. Cahitra Navratri kalash Sthapana Muhurta 2025:

First Muhurta 

March 30, 2025, from 06:13 am to 10:22am.

Second Muhurta (Abhijit Muhurta)

March 30, 2025, from 12:01 pm to 12:50 pm.

Doing kalash Sthapana in these Muhurta is considered highly fruitful.

Rules for Kalash Sthapana:

It is necessary to follow some important rles and methods for Kalash Sthapana, so that the puja is completed properly and the blessings of Maa Durga can be obtained.

  • First of all, clean the place of worship thoroughly. Positive energy resides only due to the purity of the place of worship
  • Before doing Kalash Sthapana, one should make Ashtdal. It is  a form with 8 petals, which attracts the blessings of the constellations and gods and goddesses
  • The kalash should always be made of Gold, Silver, Copper, or clay. Kalash made of these materials is considered auspicious, and they are considered more effective in worship

When to perform Kanya Pujan?

This time there is confusion due to the loss of one day of Chaitra Navratri. Some people perform Kanya Pujan on Ashtami  Tithi and some on Navmi Tithi. This time Navratri is starting on 30th March and will end on 6th April, according to which Kanya Pujan of Ashtami Tithi will be performed in April and Kanya Pujan of Navmi Tithi will be performed on 6th April.

Kanya Pujan Vidhi:

  • For Kanya Pujan in Navratri, wake up early in the morning and take a bath.
  •  After that, prepare Halwa, Puri, and Gram Prasad.
  • Then worship Maa Durga according to the rituals.
  • Then call 9 small girls and a small boy.
  •  First of all, wash all the feet and make them sit on a clean seat.
  •  After that, apply kumkum and akshat tilak on the forehead and tie mauli (Kalawa) in the hand.
  • Then light a ghee lamp and do aarti of all.
  •  Now feed Prasad to all the girls and give dakshina or gift according to your capacity.
  • Finally, touch their feet and take blessings.

Do these things in Navratri:

  1. On the first day, after Kalsh Sthapana, worship Maa Durga. Rules of worshiping Maa in Navratri.
  • Morning light a diya, chant Durga Mantra, and offer fresh flowers.
  • Afternoon, prepare bhog and offer it to the Goddess.
