Here are 6 ways to have a perfect understanding with your partner!
Start at the beginning
To have a healthy relationship, start at the very beginning of your union. Be real. It’s normal for everyone to feel like putting up a facade in front of the person they like, but in the long run, these little things could become big and come to haunt you. To avoid situations like this from escalating, be open with your partner. Understand that a person needs to like you for who you are, not for the ‘perfect’ version of you. Pretending to be someone you are not might take a toll on your relationship at later stages, so make sure that you show your partner what you really are.
Keep working on yourself
Despite common belief of marriage being a symbol of finality in a relationship, it’s not! For all those who feel like keeping the spark alive in your relationship and keeping your partner hooked, already know how important it is to keep working on the relationship. To keep having good times rolling in your relationship, make sure both of you are having fun. It’s always a great idea to chill together and make light of stuff. Hang out together and laugh at silly jokes or even make fun of chaos around you. Try to soothe your partner’s inhibitions through humour.

Always Respect
The lesser known fact, the major cause of fallouts in marriages today is the lack of respect for each other. Marriage or a Relationship is not all fairytale, it needs daily adjustments and hustling. Both of you will have to work in accordance with each other. For you to get on like a house on fire a strong desire to stay together needs to be there. You need to understand that it’s not always warm and pretty when two people are together. There are times when that teamwork is needed.
Giving up would not be an alternative at this time, so understand your partner. Work on things together and never take them for granted. Pay heed to what they have to say and respect their opinion because you are two different individuals and are entitled to having a different opinion.
Make time
Once you get married, the reality sets in and you face challenges of starting a life together daily. Finding time for your partner or for dates or things and activities you enjoyed together could be a task in itself. When you don’t have time, you make time! Get your partner involved in your tasks. Or better do them together. If you need to cook, get your partner to help you in the kitchen and this could turn out to be a fun activity for both of you. Go on dates, and if you can’t bring the movie date home! Light some candles and put on a movie on your laptop. At the end of the day, it all boils down to how eager you are to spend time with your soulmate.
Appreciate. Compliment. Check.
There can never be enough compliments for your partner! You do not have to turn into mush everytime you talk to them, but always appreciate the little things that they do. These little words of appreciation never go unnoticed. Your partner chooses you; your perfection and flaws- the whole deal. This means that they appreciate your existence and are happy to have you in their life. And the same goes vice-versa. It’s always a great idea to show them your support and shower them with love when they feel low. Be their biggest cheerleader and the toughest critic. But remember never to take them for granted. Do nice things for them every now and then to make them feel special and loved.
Find hobbies together
The best way to spend time with each other is finding a hobby fit for both of you. Make resolutions and stick to them. For example, make a resolution to stay fit by going on a walk daily. Encourage your partner to do the same. This way you can take up newer and bigger challenges every now and then. Also paving a way to challenge each other to achieve greater heights. Cycling daily, a baking course, learning a new language, reading the newspaper, or painting- there really is no end to this list. Find a thing that you both love and start doing it together. This would not only be informative and learning but would also let you see a new side of your partner.
Having a perfect marriage is not a hard thing to attain. All you need to do is work hard and hustle together, daily. But always with a promise in your heart and a twinkle of hope in your eyes for the love you have for your partner.
